Join the test group 

Our mission is to develop autonomous ridepooling solutions that make urban mobility safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. To achieve this, we’re testing our autonomous vehicles under real-world conditions in a test area in Hamburg.

Requirements 

You can become a MOIA Pioneer if you...

  • Are at least 18 years old 
  • Have time to take regular autonomous rides
  • Don't use a pacemaker
  • Agree to our terms and conditions and data privacy policy
  • Commit to providing feedback after each ride
  • Participate in surveys and interviews (optional)

Keep in mind: Autonomous MOIAs have different service hours than regular rides. You can find them here.

Your Next Steps 

1. Sign up for the waitlist

Sign up in the MOIA app and answer a few short questions. 
2. Get notified

We will inform you by e-mail as soon as autonomous rides are available. It may take some time until we can accept you into our test group.
3. Give your consent

Before you can start, we need your agreement on the terms of use. You will then receive all the relevant information from us by e-mail.
4. Book autonomous rides

Once confirmed, you can book free autonomous rides* in the MOIA app.
5. Rate your rides

Provide feedback after each ride and support us in further surveys or interviews.

Good to know

Limited luggage space

During the test phase, there will be no luggage space in our autonomous MOIAs. Please keep this in mind when planning your ride.

Limited availability

Since only a small number of autonomous MOIAs are currently in operation, we may not be able to offer you a ride during times of high demand.

No group bookings and pre-booking

During the testing phase, bookings are only available for individual passengers. Pre-booking will not be available for autonomous rides.

Limited user experience

During the test phase delays may occur, and walking distances to the pickup points may be slightly longer than usual.
