Each and every one of you has contributed to making the people in our city a little more mobile.
The deal was as follows: You can take a MOIA for a maximum of five euros for two weeks from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and we donate one trip per hundred individual trips for the good cause. With your help, we collected 250 trips, which we will now donate to five different charities.
The trips will be distributed between our cooperation partners Oll Inklusiv, Wege aus der Einsamkeit, KULTURISTENHOCH2, Lebenshilfe and CHILDREN FOR TOMORROW. We are already looking forward to seeing how the trips will be used and how we can make a difference with your efforts. For example, Jennifer Lim of KULTURISTENHOCH2 announced that the MOIA trips would be used in the evening after events, especially by the elderly, some of whom are not very mobile.
At KULTURISTENHOCH2 young and elderly people are brought together for cultural events. Young and old learn from each other and senior citizens get the chance to participate more actively in cultural life.
Axel Grassmann from Lebenshilfe makes it very clear: "Mobility is self-determination". In the future, the families in care will receive even more help by the association offering them MOIA trips in order to become even more mobile.
Of course, the end of the campaign period does not mean that we cannot continue to do good together. Under the slogan #GuterMove we will keep supporting non-profit organizations with their work. We're looking forward to working with you to bring more mobility to the city where it is needed most. Check out the links and find out how you can do something on your own to help.
